2. Transfer
We will not transfer your personal information to any third party. If a transfer is required due to merger or acquisition, we will require the new recipient to be bound by this Privacy Policy and notify you separately.

We will only publicly disclose your personal information with your separate consent or as required by law.
7. Data Security Measures
We take the following technical and administrative measures to protect your personal information:
- Transmission encryption: The entire site uses HTTPS/TLS encrypted transmission to prevent data theft or tampering.
- Password hashing: User passwords are stored as hashes; we cannot know your plaintext password.
- Payment security: Payment uses official WeChat Pay/Alipay signature verification to prevent amount tampering.

To protect your information security, we may need to verify your identity when you exercise these rights. We will respond within 15 working days after receiving your request and completing identity verification. In complex cases, this may be extended to 30 working days.
9. Protection of Minors
Our services are provided to adults. We do not actively collect personal information from minors. If you are a minor under 14, please read this Privacy Policy with your guardian and use our services only with guardian consent. If we discover personal information of minors collected without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.
10. Dual-Site Architecture and Cross-Border Transfer
To better serve global users, Mail-Verifier operates two sites:
- Domestic site (mail-verifier.xyz): For mainland China users, servers located within mainland China, with ICP and public security filings.
- International site (mail-verifier.com): For global users, verification servers located in Hong Kong, providing global email verification.
When you use the email verification service, your uploaded verification data is transferred to the international site's verification servers in Hong Kong for processing. Details of cross-border transfer:

We make the following commitments regarding cross-border transfer:
- Legal basis: On your first use, we will notify you that verification data will be transferred to Hong Kong servers; your confirmation constitutes separate consent (Article 39 of the Personal Information Protection Law). You may refuse, but you will not be able to use the verification service.
- Data minimization: Only the email list data necessary for verification is transferred; no account passwords, payment info or other personal information is transferred.
- Purpose limitation: Data on Hong Kong servers is used only for verification tasks, not for any other purpose.
- Expiry deletion: Verification data is stored on Hong Kong servers for up to 30 days, then auto-deleted with no copies kept.
- Security measures: Hong Kong servers also use HTTPS encryption and access control.
- Your rights: You may request deletion of uploaded verification data at any time. To delete early, contact support QQ 1169531800.
Per Article 38 of the Personal Information Protection Law, we safeguard cross-border data security by conducting security assessments of overseas recipients and signing data processing agreements defining rights, obligations and security responsibilities.
11. Responsibility for User-Uploaded Data
Regarding email verification data you upload through this platform, the division of responsibility is as follows:
- Legality of data source: You must ensure the email list you upload comes from lawful sources and that you have obtained the necessary processing authority or data subject authorization. You are responsible for the legality and lawfulness of the data source.
- Role division: For the email data you upload, you are the personal information processor (data controller), and this platform acts as a processor executing verification tasks only under your instructions.
- User warranty: You warrant not to upload: (1) email addresses obtained through illegal scraping, theft or other unlawful means; (2) data involving state secrets or trade secrets; (3) data violating laws or public order.
- Liability: Any legal liability arising from unlawful data sources or illegal content you upload shall be borne by you. If your upload causes third-party claims or regulatory penalties, the platform has the right to seek indemnification from you.
- Limited liability of platform: The platform undertakes data security obligations during processing (encrypted transmission, expiry deletion, etc.). However, the platform does not substantively review the legality of uploaded content or data sources and assumes no warranty liability.
- Cooperation with investigations: Upon requests from competent authorities or third-party complaints, the platform may suspend processing of suspected illegal data and cooperate with investigations.
- Domestic email data guidance: For bulk verification of domestic email data, use the domestic site (mail-verifier.xyz), whose servers are within mainland China and do not involve cross-border transfer. Choosing a site for verification is the user's own choice; any legal consequences from improper choice are borne by the user.
- Illegal liability: Use of the verification service is the user's personal conduct. If a user uses the service to engage in activities violating PRC laws, all legal liability is borne by the user, not the platform.
12. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use automated decision-making for user profiling or personalized push. We do not provide targeted advertising or differentiated pricing based on automated decisions.
13. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. For material changes, we will post notices on the website or notify you by other means. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.

14. Dispute Resolution
The interpretation, validity and dispute resolution of this Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of mainland China. Any dispute arising from this Privacy Policy or your personal information processing shall first be resolved through friendly consultation; if consultation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent people's court at the location of Yantai Chuanyuan Network Technology Co., Ltd.
